Ribeth Hygenyk Foods (Inc. # CS 762472015) was founded in February 2005 with the aim of engaging in agro-food processing or conversion of primary agricultural produce into packaged branded products.
The company has since obtained all relevant certifications from all local regulators (both FDA and GSA) as well as NAFDAC, the regulator in Republic of Nigeria. Ribeth Hygenyk produces its own uniquely formulated traditional Ghanaian black pepper sauce (known locally as shitor) and sells under the brand name Goody’s Lovely Shito. The brand is a best seller in ALL major supermarkets in Ghana such as Game, Melcom and Shoprite, and offers the widest variety of recipes on the market (beef, gizzard, shrimp, vegetarian, shrimp free and seafood). The company’s innovative edge and responsiveness to customers changing needs have positioned Goody’s as one of the top brands in the pepper sauce market in Ghana. Benefits derived by the consumer from buying brand include longer shelf life, consistent quality, ability to serve out of the fridge without re-heating due to high portions of unsaturated fatty acids in the type of cooking oil used.

Alex Kodwiw, is a Chemical Engineer by profession with a 10-year industrial working experience from Unilever, a World Class Food Manufacturing environment. His experiences span Food Product and Packaging Development as well as Marketing of consumer goods. He emerged as one of the top ten winners of a business plan competition held by the Enablis Foundation in 2011 and in 2015, Accenture in partnership with the Tony Elumelu Foundation
selected him as one of the winners of its maiden edition of its entrepreneurship programme. He emerged again as one of the best 10 business operators in the UKAID funded programme, ENGINE, 2018 cohort.
He is responsible for Strategic planning, innovation, and overall responsibility for operational execution. His business interests include food processing, innovation process management.
Alex is married with 4 kids, enjoys music, walking, fishing and singing
Leslie Otutey Glover-Akpey holds an MSc Computer Science from Osmania University Hyderabad India and with over 10 years work experience. He was recently appointed to the board of Ribeth Hygenyk Foods in charge of market research into export markets. Leslie also lectures part time with IPMC. He is married with one child and enjoys music and hiking.
Frank Jonah holds a first degree in Economics and a Masters in Project Management. A result-oriented professional with varied experience in supply chain, human resource management, logistics and project management, distributor management, sales and marketing.
